Our Team

Dr. Khum Raj Pathak is our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Maths tutor and a researcher specialising in Children’s Rights, and Education in Nepal. He graduated from Kumarwarti Campus, Tribhuvan University, with a B.Ed in Maths and Education. He went on to complete an MSc in Education, Power and Social Change in Birkbeck College, University of London, followed by a PhD in Education at Canterbury Christ Church University.

Bella Aklouf has been teaching since 1993, in between studying Philosophy and working as a journalist for several national newspapers and magazines. She is a CELTA and PTLLS qualified English Tutor who has also taught Religious Studies, English Literature, History, Philosophy and Human Geography. She currently leads our Employability and Career Counselling Programme, helping people who have suffered social exclusion plus trauma in early or adult life to find the confidence to rebuild their lives and empower themselves through bespoke training. Bella also runs Divine PR, promoting various independent musical artists, alternative educational projects and charities. 

Chandra Pathak leads Divine Care Services. After completing her degree in Nepali Literature, she worked as a primary school and Special Needs teacher. She is qualified in Health and Social Care, Fire Safety and Child Safeguarding and is currently providing full-time back-up support to an organisation which manages testing for nursing staff and other health professionals.
