Philosophy

Do I really exist? How do I know anything? What is good? Does God exist? 

These are some of the powerful questions that we tackle in our Philosophy course. Although based upon the AQA Philosophy A level syllabus, it is accessible to anybody from the mildly curious and reflective to those with a passion for reading and arguing. It is divided into four sections – Epistemology, Metaphysics of Mind, Moral Philosophy and Philosophy of Religion, covering some of the most influential texts in ‘Western’ philosophy. 
Coronavirus update: Due to distancing measures, Oliver Genn-Bash is currently teaching adults only via Zoom on an individual basis. £20 for half an hour or £30 for an  hour.  Although students are strongly encouraged to buy the key texts, reading materials for the analysis of key passages will be provided for free online.
