Learning Activities for Key Stage 1 – 4

KEY STAGE ONE: ​COLOUR ME WILD 
What On Earth Books have made a collection of free resources available which are especially good for young people that enjoy learning about the natural world. The worksheets provided give an opportunity to learn about dinosaurs, bugs, plants and mammals while colouring in pictures and diagrams. KEY STAGE TWO:​ ​CHANGE THE WORLD 
Free online resources have been produced by Newington Green Meeting House in collaboration with Benjamin Franklin House and the Museum of Methodism. Young people can explore the connections between modern-day issues such as the minimum wage and campaigns of the past, meet historical figures such as Mary Wollstonecraft and create their own protest poetry and persuasive slogans. KEY STAGE THREE: 100 GREAT BLACK BRITONS 
A new home school competition called 100 Great Black Britons has been launched to explore Back British History. This competition, sponsored by The National Education Union, is a fantastic way for young people to learn more about the legacy and achievements of Black people in Britain and how they helped shape our country. KEY STAGE FOUR: ​MATHS BOOSTER
While the schools are closed the Maths Kitchen are making all of the features on their site free for all to use. You will have to create an account and then free access will continue for the duration of the school closures. Maths Kitchen has a range of resources and support to help students with their GCSE Maths ranging from daily exercises to dynamic learning resources all at different levels of ability. KEY STAGE FIVE:​ ​EMPOWER YOURSELF 
Agenda is a set of online resources designed to help young people to make positive relationships. Through activities and case studies parents can “explore inclusive, creative and rights-based approaches to a range of issues from feelings and emotions to friendships and relationships, from body image to sexuality, equality and equity.
